What happens when one of California’s most immersive art installations partners with Paso’s premiere private jazz club? You get Radiant Rhythms—a new jazz series launching on October 27th, promising to redefine Sunday nights in Paso Robles with world-class performances under the stars. This exciting collaboration brings the best of two unique worlds together, with live jazz lighting up Sensorio’s Market Stage and Lawn amidst its renowned light displays.

At the heart of this collaboration is Corey Jordan, founder of Libretto. Corey’s jazz club isn’t just a venue—it’s a haven for top-tier, even Grammy awarded musicians, thanks in part to its extraordinary nine-foot Steinway, one of only six from a special Steinway Artist division fleet. Corey explained that the piano’s unique sound draws musicians from around the country, eager for the chance just to play on it. After producing over 800 shows in just three years, Corey amd Libretto have carved out a special place in Paso’s music scene.

The idea to expand Libretto’s reach beyond its walls came to life in discussions with Sensorio’s GM, Ryan Hopple. Ryan, passionate about elevating Sensorio’s immersive offerings, saw jazz as the perfect complement to the venue’s artistic atmosphere. “The elegance and funkiness of jazz pair so well with Sensorio,” Ryan said, reflecting on the synergy between Sensorio’s visual displays and the energy of live music. Together, they crafted the Radiant Rhythms series to add a new dimension to Sensorio’s attractions.

This collaboration wouldn’t have come together without Stacie Jacob of Solterra Strategies and Travel Paso, who made the connection between Libretto and Sensorio. Both Corey and Ryan credit her for sparking the idea that is now blossoming into this unique jazz series.

The first event on October 27th will feature acclaimed jazz vocalist Melissa Morgan. With a background that includes performances at Harlem’s legendary Smoke Jazz Club, Melissa brings an energy that both Corey and Ryan believe will set the perfect tone for the new series. “Melissa has performed here about three or four times, and she’s an amazing musician,” Corey shared.

Sensorio is also offering something new: for just $12, guests can attend the concert-only portion of the evening. “It’s a great way for people to get a taste of Sensorio,” Ryan noted. Guests can also use their concert ticket as credit towards full entry into Sensorio’s immersive exhibits, giving them the chance to experience the best of both worlds—music and light.

The team at Sensorio is excited about what’s to come, with Grammy-winning performers already lined up for future Radiant Rhythms events. Ryan shared that this collaboration is just the beginning of many exciting developments, including holiday events and new installations set to launch in the coming months.

With the combination of Sensorio’s artistic magic and Libretto’s talent curation, Radiant Rhythms promises to be a new Sunday tradition in Paso Robles. Don’t miss your chance to experience it all at the inaugural performance on October 27th.
