Coming to Table: SLOCAL's Latest Hot Spot Restaurant, 'PARCHETTO' with Owner Carole MacDonal
Adam chats with Carole MacDonal, owner of the new downtown Paso Robles spot, 'PARCHETTO'.
15 years ago, Carole and Santos MacDonal left their lives and careers behind in LA and set out to elevate their own path and ended up elevating the culinary path of Paso along the way.
Il Cortile, since day one, has been a benchmark for elevated Paso cuisine with its fine dining homemade Italian fare.
15 years later, Carole and Santos roll the curtains back on ‘Parchetto’ (Park-KET-oh), SLOCAL’s newest must check out restaurant, downtown Paso Robles.
With an address that’s almost too perfect, 1234 Park St, Downtown Paso, ‘Parchetto’, Italian for ‘little park’, pays homage to Paso’s famed square in both biggest and even smallest ways.
Midcentury-modern chophouse vibes serve up dry aged proteins like beef and duck to seafood bites like fried calamari, oysters, tartare, and grilled octopus.
Full bar offers the most classic of cocktails (ask for a Grasshopper!)
Check out the chat and hear the real heart they have for not only hospitality, but for Paso.
